Learning Letter

Work completed in the course: I think the work for this course was extremely useful for preparing me for teaching. I especially enjoyed the book projects. Knowing that all these books are out there for our use, and getting to hear the importance and how we can use these books from our peers was especially helpful. I Will definitely use them as resources for teaching. I also liked doing the blog posts for reflection on my own education and how the standards connect to that, but I’m not sure that I will utilize them as a source while teaching. I also thought the assigned readings for the NES textbook were very helpful, it kept me on track and helped me pace myself through it, rather than reading it all at once.  Theories and Concepts covered: All the theories and concepts we covered in class were impactful to me, but none so much as the importance of graphic novels and visual literacy.
